To be truthful, I was looking for the sfogliatelle which have haunted my taste buds since 1968 when I worked in Soho and bought a takeaway breakfast of 2 sfogliatelle (greedy! I know!) and a black coffee from Amalfi in Old Compton Street every Saturday morning. I had hoped the lemon Arogastine would fill the void, but they are too sweet for my taste, when I was longing for the more subtle ricotta and orange zest filling. Perhaps you could put them on your menu? I must add though, that my friends LOVED them!
I've been longing for a rum baba for at least 40 years! They seem to have gone 'out of fashion' in restaurants and in my recent search I found you, oh gorgeous Affetto! And, just imagine, without the internet I may have gone another 40 years without a rum baba (though given my age and health it's extremely unlikely). Thank you for your delicious, delightful, de-lovely (stealing from Cole Porter now) rum babas!

A great selection of little pastries, they all have wonderful crispy shell with gorgeous creamy fillings. The selection box was perfect for me with a great choice of different flavours, i cannot recommend them enough and I will definitely be ordering some more
